It's like this. I couldn't play in the 2000 tournament as I was at the wedding of a mutual friend of Owen's and mine. It was a difficult decision but I think the right one in the end. Clearly I should have trained some chimps to look after the proceedings rather than leave it to the others because the actual game scores were lost to the ages (in other words someone forgot to copy them down from the whiteboard before cleaning it).
